What a wonderful day.... The day started out with us going into the doctor for my 37 week check up. After having contractions for a week and knowing that Byron was in a breech position the doctor was going to do a procedure called an external cephalic version to try and flip him, but Byron had a different plan. Once hooked up to all the monitoring machines my contractions were getting stronger, by noon I was in full labor. That's when we got the news that the version was off and I was going to have a c-section. Byron was born at 4:04pm and weighed 6lbs 11oz. He is perfect.

Easter Weekend
Mark 16:6
"Don't be alarmed, he said. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him."

37 weeks pregnant.

We had a wonderful weekend with family and friends.

So.... we finally decided to start a blog. Life is hectic these days and we hope this will keep everyone in the loop with what is going on with us.

The kids are doing great. Madison is out of playschool (Mothers Day Out) for the summer. She is already asking when she gets to go back. She is our little entertainer, she loves to play dress up, sing and dance - especially when she has an audience. She also loves to introduce her new baby brother to everyone, and I mean everyone...strangers at the grocery store and to family and friends who have met him many times before. Byron is doing great. He is such a sweet baby, he is always happy. We had his 6 week check up last week and he weighs 9lbs already. He has started smiling at us which just melts our hearts. We can't believe how fast he is growing.

Life is great! Mom is enjoying getting to be at home with the kids this summer. Stay tuned for more-
